What a BEAUTIFUL early (1920's) FLORAL APPLIQUE Quilt! The workmanship is outstanding! The quilt is handpieced and handquilted in tiny even stitches @ 7-8 spi. The colors are lovely and soft. I just love the unusual SWAG border. The quilt measures a generous 70" x 82" and is thin. The muslin backing has been rolled over to the front to form the binding. T were two tiny little blood stains, the larger one is pictured. Does not detract at all from this beauty. I found 1 tiny little area (about 1") w the seam has come loose on one of the appliqued flowers. T is some very slight fading on a portion of the pink swag...you really do not even notice it I just mention it for accuracy. Perfect for a cottage home!!!
