This mirror is an amazing period piece! Now take a moment and think of all of the famous artists that came from the Roman Empire, well, the point is they obviously didnt stop. This Italian piece is strictly Rococo, no doubt about it. It is absolutely masterfully carved and is made of all wood but coated in gold leaf. Fitting if you think about it because the gold leaves on this mirror are gold leaf designed.....clever for sure, and never disappointing, this mirror is sure to dazzle any spectator especially if you're a fan of the Rococo period (circa 1890) or just wonderful works of art. T has been some repairs to the delicate carvings over its 100 year life. Size is 17.5x3x21.
