This is a gorgeous figural of a young lady hand painted in beautiful colors. My photos couldn't capture the actual colors and are a bit too dark. She is wearing a lovely pinkish lavender dress with yellow trim, the inside of the outer layer is blue, the shoulders and inner skirt are a soft yellow with delicate handpainted flowers. t is another skirt or petticoat under that which is lavender. She is also wearing a bonnet with flowers around the rim, a white bow at the back and white ribbon straps. She has lovely brown curls poking out the sides of her hat. This figure is marked on the bottom with the green Volkstedt Porzellanfabrik Karl Ens mark, which was only used before WW2, it was changed to blue after that, t is also Germany in green, both of these marks are under glaze. T is another black mark which is not under glaze or over glaze. I don't know if this is the artist's mark or? If anyone knows, I'd appreciate the info. She stands about 9.5" high. She is in mint condition with no damage or repairs. I will also be adding more figurines on Saturday night, April 7.
