DESCRIPTION We are presenting a 1940's Mahogany China Closet. It measures 15" deep, 32 1/2" wide, and 66 1/2" tall. We have the whole set and will be selling it as separates (China Closet, Buffet, Table). It is a slightly smaller set than the typical huge sets from the era and would fit well in a small room or apartment without taking up the whole room but could be used equally well in a larger room to give you a more "open" design scheme without being "crowded". It has 2 glass doors on the top with 2 removable shelves with plate slots. It has very "clean" lines. The bottom also has 2 doors for extra storage. T is some wear on the bottom doors and shelves have some wear from storage. Nothing serious to worry about It has the Original brass ring drawer pulls and faux keyhole covers with brass shield covers. It has very clean lines. T is some minor wear around the pulls It has a paper label from Bernhardt Furniture Company, Lenoir, North Carolina--Joseph Horne Co., N.S. Warehouse Galveston and Shore Ave. N.S. Pittsburgh Penn. It is in overall very good condition but does show some minor wear marks in finish and small nicks on the top surface. Thanks for looking, have fun bidding, and enjoy the auction. Our descriptions are very critical of the piece we are selling but you still may want more information . Quite frankly, you're buying a piece, sight unseen, and the only thing you can go on is the description and your "feel" on the person who's selling it. We'd rather have a very satisfied customer because because I'm overly critical of the piece we're selling, than an unsatisfied customer because we omitted something the buyer should know about. Please note that all large items are for sale in our 11,000 square foot antique store and subject to prior sale. T is no other way to handle this. Once a bid has been placed that meets our opening bid in a No Reserve Auction, or meets our Reserve in a Reserve Auction, the item is marked in our store as sold and no one will permitted to buy it after that time except an EBAY bidder. We've been antique dealers for over 25 years and buy thousands of items each month making it necessary to move things out so we can move things in. We've been doing this for so long that people expect us to buy their home's contents and in many instances are into the Third generation with their families.
