The color of these sapphires is just gorgeous, it's a beautiful, crisp,tranquil blue, a ture Ceylon sapphire. T are many grades of sapphires, Ceylon are amoung the most sought after sapphires becuase the color is such a pure, clean blue. These ring has it all, the of the sapphires color is perfectly even and perfectly matched. The setting is solid 14k gold heavy, with attention to detail,so that it is completely comfortable to wear. I think that either a man or a woman could easily wear it. it is a copy of an oringal 1930s setting. The pictures are good, but it looks 100 times better in person, the color really comes across. High quality sapphires have always been one of the most expensive gemstones, now more than ever fine quality stones are very rare and just about all of the high quality gems hardly ever leaves Asia, w it gets top dollar. I am pricing all of my items to sell and this ring is far below the cost of just the stone. If you love blue, this one is like nothing you have ever seen. It it truely beautiful.
