Just a beautiful old english white ironstone table pitcher or ewer with a brilliant pink transfer on the outside in PERFECT condition!! This beauty stands 11 1/2 inches tall. Has a very elegant fancy style about it. Several embossed vertical lines around the pitcher belly create a deep appearance. Tall and slender with a wide neck and flared scalloped rim make just a great looking piece of english white ironstone! The pattern on one side is of many floral patterns with blowing vines and the other is more of an aesthetic style banner with flowers. Very 1880's in my opinion! The front under the pour spout and as well as the insdie spout have vivid pink transfers of elegant flowers also. WOW!! Look at the handle!!! No words describe this better that the photo, just stunning! A pink transfer runs down the back of the handle too. Nicely constructed in brilliant white colors, the transfer is bold and bright. Double marked on the bottom Bishop, Stonier, England and a pink ink mark of Crofton, B&S, the pattern. This is truely a remarkable piece in just MINT condition!! Note: insurance not included in shipping costs, to be determined at auction end. Always listing quality and primitive antiques, Watch this site!
