STUNNING PURPLE LUSTERWARE TEA SET 1930S CZECHOSLOVAKIA

This is an absolutely stunning purple lusterware tea set made in Czechsoslovakia circa 1930s. It consists of a covered sugar bowl, creamer, 6 snack plates, 6 saucers, and 5 cups (t must have been a 6th cup originally, but sadly, it is no longer with us). The colors are iridescent purple and white with thin black trim throughout; the cups, creamer and sugar bowl have black handles. The luster on these pieces is absolutely incredible; the purple looks purple or blue or pink depending on the light (you can probably tell this from the photos). The white looks alternately pink, blue, yellow or green. I am not an expert on lusterware but as far as I can tell, t is very little wear to the luster. The only things I would note regarding this set are these: t is superficial scratching from utensil use on the snack plates; t is one small flake on the base on the reverse side of one of the plates; t is a bit of wear to the top of the black finial on the lid of the sugar bowl; and t is a bit of wear to the black trim on the saucers w the cups would sit (see the fourth photo). None of these things is really visible or bothersome; I am just trying to be thorough. Other than that the pieces are all in excellent condition! I am not going to go through the measurements of each individual piece because the sugar, creamer, cups and saucers look pretty standard to me; the snack plates are 7 1/2" in diameter (if you do want specific measurements on any of the pieces, please email me). All pieces are marked "Made in Czechoslovakia" in a circle on the bottom, some in red and some in black ink, but I do not know who the manufacturer was. If you collect old lusterware or just love the color purple, you will not want to miss this set; it is quite extraordinary-looking and I have not seen anything like it before!
