Up for auction is a stunning R. Lalique fish vase. Not sure what type of fish but looks like angel fish. T are about 10 fish encircling the vase all around it. It is about 9 1/2" tall and has an approximate width of 10". It is signed twice on the glass, once on the bottom and once on the bottom edge. The bottom is inscribed by hand "R. Lalique France". The bottom edge is another mark "R. Laligue" molded into the glass. I have tried to take pictures and it was a challenge. The vase is in perfect condition except for one very small flea bite about the size of a pin head on the bottom edge.(see picture, so small it was hard to capture in pictures). The silver mount on top is signed along edge w it meets glass "Carassale Buenos - Ayres". The estate it came out of the person said that it came from one of the World's Fair, possibly the one held in Argetina. I have seen a lot of R. Lalique but never one with a silver mount.
