For auction today is this very stylish and vintage German travelling/bedroom alarm clock dating from the 1960s and mechanical in operation. The clock is in good condition with just a few light scratches and one or two tiny nicks to the faux tortoishell case in brown. The knobs and keys are all there and the time I have had it ticking it has kept good time and the alarm works as it should. The dial s in very good condition and the fluorescent material is intact, it has the alarm set arm there too. The dial is stamped with "Europa 7 Jewels Foreign" and under one of the feet is stamped "Germany." The case slides back and forth and as it does the feet appear and fold back. I have not seen very many of these and are very attractive and stylish. The gold plating, I must add, is not perfect there is a little age wear. The clock is 5ins across extended. The item is sold as seen, therefore, ask questions and look at the pictures but I would recommend it be serviced by a professional on receipt.
