This lot includes a framed newspaper(Detroit Free Press) dated March 26, 1958, noting Sugar Ray Robinson regaining the middleweight championship over Carmen Basillio. Also included is a photo of Robinson and a cut signature which reads "Best Wishes, to Warren, Sincerely, Sugar Ray Robinson". A framed newspaper--wraparound only(front and back pages) of the Boston Daily Record dated September 25, 1953 noting Rocky in a successful defense of his heavyweight crown against Roland La Starza. Also included is a photo of Rocky and a 3x5 index card with signature. Lastly, a framed photo of Rocky and Jersey Joe Walcott. Included is a full ticket dated April 10, 1953 for a fight scheduled at Chicago Stadium. Nice lot for the fight fan. GOOD LUCK. After inquiry from a prospective bidder, the ticket described has three stains from mounting squares w it was attached when framed. A small tear is also evident. The above condition of ticket does not affect any writing on reverse of ticket.
