___________________________________________________________________________SUMIDA GAWA JAPAN 12" TALL PITCHERNEAR MINT CONDITION***GUARANTEED AS DESCRIBED This is a large Sumida Gawa pitcher, 12" tall, hand thrown and decorated with several hand formed monkeys with pearls. It is glazed in the earlier, relatively soft, dark red-orange of the Meiji period. And typical of this glaze, there are several random handling losses, including on the bottom foot--see photos. There are no clay chips, hairlines, cracks, repairs or other defects to report. It is not signed (no lozenge), but obviously made by a master of the craft. Thank you for looking--and be sure to check my auctions for MORE GREAT ITEMS. SHIPPING is free including insurance within the US for USPS or FEDEX GROUND--my choice. Expedited shipping would be extra. Canada UPS would be $30 IF UPS DELIVERS TO YOU. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING and other Canadian deliveries are via Global Express Mail, $80 including insurance.
