This is a relist because the original buyer was non paying and is no longer a registered user on Ebay. Signed, Sumida Gawa teapot with monkey/over turned jar and brick red background. Cute teapot but guess a bamboo handle was once t Measures 2 1/2" tall and 5 3/4" wide. Tiny spout with beautiful drip glaze around top. Nicely detailed face. The white plaque with the signature under glaze is a mark stamped onInuoe Ryosai Sumida wares according to N. Shiffer in Imari, Satsuma andOther Japanese Export Ceramics 1997 page 201. The brick red ground is in excellent condition with little wear. No chips, cracks or repairs. Was found with this lid but I cannot say for sure it is original. I would think it would have a monkey finial? Buyer pays 8.80 S&H with insurance required and extra. MOs, personal checks and PayPal accepted. Ten business day wait on all personal checks to clear. Ship with PayPal within 5 business days. MO and check payments are required within 10 days. PayPal payments are required within three days. Thank you. Select a picture
