/2ba221.html Very nice sounding pre amp..I currently use this alongside a Neumann TLM-103 Vocal mic for a rich lush sound. The unit has just become surplus to requirements due to recording partner purchasing new studio with vocal facilities...The only flaw, (cosmetic) is one rubber square is missing off the bottom (see pic 4), but I just generally use a blob of blu tack and that does the trick. Otherwise in perfect condition, just a couple of superficial scratches on the underside.. One of the best features of the 221 is its variable tube output control, which provides access to a huge variety of tones, from clean solid state to rich harmonics and all sorts of variations in between.
