Having a major clear out of some 250+ old accumulated The Sun, The Daily Star and Daily Mirror newspapers from the 1970's, 1980's and 1990's. All are old and used, most in very good condition for their age and some not so, due to previous owners' usage/storage. Some are complete, but most will be missing a page (Page 3 or equivalent). All cover notable events like wars, conflicts, politics, scandals royal events, famous celebrity deaths/marriages and other events of the day. These make for an invaluable read and perfect for students doing history and media studies courses etc, or just for anyone wishing to reminisce. Most of these editions are old, very rare indeed and almost impossible to source now so don't miss out!! The Sun newspaper from 10th April 1982 in fair condition for age, missing pages 5/6 and some minor scribble on cover. Skoda, Halfords, Texas Homecare, Ads, Flymo, 555 - full page each. TV, Pop, fashion, adverts, jokes and general interest stories of the day. Tennis - Bjorn Borg, Yannick Noah.Golf - Jack Nicklaus. MOTO GP - Barry Sheene, Freddie Spencer article & pics. Footie - Graham Taylor, John McGovern, Francois Van Der Elst, Eric Gates and Graham Roberts featured with pics. Please note: The buy it now price detailed will not be reduced during the life of this auction, as basically after all the ebay/paypal fees it will simply not be worth my time/effort to list otherwise. Given the popularity of these old newspapers, if you are interested in buying, I would advise not to hang around watching otherwise you may well miss out.. ;-) Additional newspapers will be only 25p each extra to post combined and given that I do not have access to accurate scales for weighing, postage is estimated and any significant overcharge will be refunded after posting.
