This train uses 12v DC and has aprox. 30 minutes of run time, and operates perfectly. It has been on display and used for photos on my American Flyer layout with American Models code 148 Flex Track and turnouts. It will operate forward through AM turnouts but will not backup through them without derailing. This has the original box & wrapper and has socket wrenches for side rod removal, they have never been used.
