Super 19thC Rudolstadt-Volkstedt Hand Painted Trefoil Cup & Saucer Description This super 19th Century porcelain trefoil shape Cup and Saucer have an underglaze blue mark on the base that I believe was used at Rudolstadt- Volkstedt. The Cup and Saucer are beautifully hand painted, with four panels filled alternately with bouquets of flowers on a lilac colour background and courting couples in 18th Century costume. The panels are separated with narrow gilt decorated borders. Both Cup and Saucer are in good condition, no chips, cracks or restoration. The decoration is in good order. Size: Saucer 14cms (5.5") long,12cms (4.75") wide, Cup 8.25 cms(3.25") x7cms (2.75") at top, 7.5cms(3") high.
