I AM A 100% POSITIVE EBAY POWERSELLER-BID WITH CONFIDENCE!A STUNNING AND NEAR MINT 1972 OMEGA GENEVE MANS WRIST WATCH IN BEAUTIFUL SOLID 9K GOLD WITH AN OMEGA SIGNED BUCKLET are strict rules and guidelines for the manufacture of a "Geneve" signed watch.âe~To be allowed to carry the inscription "Genève," a watch must be a Swiss watch and at least one of the major operations in fabrication, either assembly of the movement or insertion of the movement into the case, must have been performed in the area of Genève so that at least 50% of the total cost of production incur in this area..âe(tm)A higher quality than non Geneve OMEGAâe(tm)Sâe¦? you decide! CASE: This is a beautiful solid 9k fully signed and fully hall marked round OMEGA watch case with extended lugs. The bezel is in near mint condition showing only a few very light normal wear marks. The rear of the case has only one very slight and light ding, and only some minute light normal wear surface scratches. It has been lightly polished to a near mirror like shine. The back has an inscription which reads âe~B.O.C W Fair 1051-72 21 years group serviceâe(tm). The lugs are near perfect with no wear evident. The case is hall marked for solid 9k gold on the inside rear, and the marks date it to 1972. The inside case back is fully OMEGA SIGNED. The case measures 3.3cms (33mm) in diameter excluding the lugs and crown. DIAL:The all original white dial on this beautiful wristwatch is in good original condition for its age. It has no major imperfections, but is a little dirty and is crisply signed " OMEGA GENEVE " and has the OMEGA symbol applied upon it. The black steel hands are in good condition. Original dials of this quality are very rare to come by indeed. The numerals are gold applied batons with black inserts. This model has a center seconds. The crystal is in excellent condition, and has no scratches, chips or other imperfections to the eye.MOVEMENT:This lovely timepiece is powered by an original OMEGA signed absolutely pristine, and near mint 17 jewel powerhouse which is beating very strongly. The piece winds smoothly and sets easily . It is running very well and is keeping good time as tested over a 24 hour period. The crown is gold in color, and is unsigned. The watch has a nice quality resonant âe~tickâe(tm). This is a fantastic and celebrated pristine copper colored cal 601 original OMEGA hand wind movement, which is numbered 321xxxxx, and has a high level of finishing and quality.BAND:This stunning OMEGA wrist watch is fitted with a brand new black genuine stitched leather good quality 18mm band. The band is fitted with a brand new gold plated genuine OMEGA signed buckle, which looks beautiful. The black leather of this band compliments this watch absolutely superbly. I would estimate that this band would fit up to an 8 and ¾ inch wrist.OMEGA WATCHES OF THIS QUALITY AND BEAUTY ONLY COME ALONG EVERY NOW AND THEN.
