Up for auction tonight is this amazing Megalodon from the Phosphate mines of Aurora, North Carolina. These teeth are coveted all over the world. I collected these over the Memorial Day weekend as well as some very nice fossil material. This tooth measures 3.75 inches at its greatest length, 3.0 inches in width. the rooth is complete with a few usual fractures and its off White. The Bourlette is dark brown and its about 80 percent intact. The blade has super sharp serrations, a perfect pointy tip, beautiful marblized light Beige enamel. The only real flaw is a nick in the blade close to the left root. This is a lower Anterior tooth and has no repair or restoration and is from the Miocene period(5-10 mil. yrs.). This auction has no reserve and a low starting price.
