Up for auction and your consideration is another super-signed "Cadoro" necklace/bib. It is definitely another Egyptian revival piece by these rare designers. It is a bright shiny gold tone and is approx. 14 ¾" long from end to end with dip in middle. T are 2 chains attached to the middle that give it a festoon appearance. The middle has 2 ferns, one at each side attached to a large chased bird with raised medallion separating them. Each bird has 3 dangles on the bottom and both have green cabochon stone eyes. This middle is approx. 7" wide (drop hard to measure) x 2 ½" high for the birds with dangles. From each of the birds hangs another extension that holds an open work curved and chased half moon medallion that represents something I don't know about. From this hang another 7 dangles. The whole piece would hang from the neck approx. 11 ½" long when worn. A stupendous necklace that will be notice! T appears to be a small repair on back w some solder has joined one of the bird's wing to the fern section, other wise in wonderful vintage condition. ** Please note that items appear larger than actually are due to photo close-ups.
