PLEASE READ THE LAST TWO/BOTTOM TWO PARAGRAPHS BEFORE BIDDING!!! NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE!!! Up for auction is by far the best Vietnam War Era US Air Force MBU-5/P oxygen mask I've found in a while! Its a size regular wide and is dated 3rd quarter of 1962. It was manufactured by Sierra Engineering Co and is totally complete and matching, all Sierra parts down to the cable guides, t-bayonets and even the dust cover! Its in incredible condition for it's age - this mask was clearly stored for decades in the most optimum conditions! There are no areas of dryness, cracking or discoloration and there are no funny smells. The matching Sierra hardshell is very clean and free of cracks. The retention harness retains a vibrant green color and is physically strong. Both retention harness to hardshell mounting snaps retain their small domed retaining screws. The mask is wired with a very early M101 Microphone and rare early CX-4707 communications cable with braided cloth sheath. The combination inhalation and exhalation valve still functions smoothly and the mask retains its tension cord that runs from the valve along the inside of the hose and clips to the 3-pin oxygen connector. This feature adds significant strength to the hose. The 3-pin oxygen connector is USAF marked and still has it's acceptance stamp. It's slightly dusty here and
