This is a New PNP (Plug and play) Ultra Bright Navigation lighting kit for RC planes that plugs into any available receiver channel with standard 3-wire servo connector.
One of The Brightest kits available Kit contents: - 1 Ultra bright 5mm Green 30000mcd intensity LED (for left wing) - 1 Ultra bright 5mm Red 25000mcd intensity LED (for right wing) - 1 Ultra bright 5mm White 30000mcd intensity LED (for nose, landing light) - 1 Blinking Red 5mm strobe LED (for tail, strobe light) These are ultra bright LED's. So you can compare, this radioshack LED is 1900mcd /product/index.jsp?productId=2103803 while the LED's included in this kit are 30000mcd almost 15 times brighter!!! The kit is designed for the Hobbyzone Super cub but will fit any plane of around 50" wing span and 35" length. The LED's are fully visible at daylight even from around 300ft away when seen directly. Given the nature of LED's they are not visible from wide angles at daylight, but just at dusk you can start seeing it pretty much from any angle. Power consupmtion is very low so won't affect flight time at all. The kit connects to any available receiver channel with standard 3-wire servo connector (like Spektrum AR6100 and many more). Wing lights set and tail-nose lights set have separate connectors so you can easily disconnect it and take the wings off without having to remove the rest of the lights. Operation voltage is 5V , the standard for receiver channel plugs (DO NOT connect to a higher voltage power supply or it might end up buring out the LED's) The kit won't work with the stock Super Cub receiver as it doesn't use standard 3-wire servo connectors or have any available channel. Kit for people using the stock Hobbyzone receiver is also available (Search for: " Super Cub LED Navigation light RC hobbyzone " and select the 11Volt option ). It will work with 7-8 cell NIMH and 2-3 cell LIPO batteries. Kit are always tested before shipping to assure correct functioning and defect free.
