WHAT A LOVELY ANTIQUE SET! IT IS OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY. And most eye catching too. Comprises 6 truly wonderful teaspoons! Here we have a quite exceptional and quite lovely and large solid silver set of terrific gauge and weight.Hallmarks are deep and clear. It is assayed in London and dated 1866-year letter l.It has a maker's mark for George W Adams (Chawner & Co).He is the most sought after flatware maker of the period and his mark can be found in Jackson's pocket edition page 56. Fully hallmarked to each lovely spoon. This is a lovely mid Victorian lot and a must have. A really delightful and highly unusual set! The length of each teaspoon is 5.625 inches.And their combined weight is a hefty 173 grams (5.56 troy ounces). This lovely set is of exceptional quality and each is a most delightful piece of tea silver. Pattern is one of the most popular of all being BEAD DOUBLE STRUCK. A highly special and collectable set thus. The condition is very good and the bowls are of perfect shape.Each is engraved with an acorn crest and always has been,definitely no erasures either.They have been well looked after. Please note that i have listed many other good items of both modern and antique silver,please do have a look. A truly beautiful and most wonderful scarce lot.
