Welcome all, and thanks for checking out the store. This is a Top Comics, Super Goof # 1. From 1967, this Gold Key comic grades in beautiful Near Mint condition, comes from a packaged set that remained untouched and unread for nearly 40 years! Cover inks are bright without signs of wear, nice reflectivity. Both staples are tight and clean, well centered. Interior pages off-white to white, insides of front and back covers white. Corners are sharp and square. Excellent investment grade, would make a nice addition to any high grade Silver Age comic collection, it's even worthy of CGC or PGX submission. 2006 Overstreet lists this issue in NM- at around $14.00, and sure to rise. Undervalued!S&H will be $4.00 for 1 to 10 comics, so be sure to check my other listings for something else you may enjoy, I love to combine shipping whenever possible, and lots of comics are undervalued! All comics are shipped the way I would want mine to be. Secure! Please feel free to ask any questions or express any concerns you may have. I'm now working with a new camera, and it seems a head on full-view scan wants to leave a flash glare on every picture, so I have tried to angle the shot a little bit to try to correct this, hope it works! If you'd like a better scan, email me and I'll do the best I can for you, thanks. ABOUT ME... (You can skip this part if you want to...t's nothing you need to know in order to bid, just a few personel notes about me for those of you who like to know a little history behind the Seller)My name is Marc and I am a comic book addict. I have been reading and collecting comics for 30 years and grading and selling them since 1986. In my single years I operated a small comic store part time right out of my apartment in Fitchburg, MA to avoid leasing building space, and yes it was crowded. Nowadays I am a devoted husband and proud father of 3 boys. None of them read comic books, and all of them think I am a little bit nuts. We live high in the Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts, w the cold temperatures help preserve the comic book paper. My grading is strict and always according to Overstreet Guidelines. My grading is consistant, this week's 8.5 will never be next month's 9.2, it is what it is. My grading is fair. I try to grade your comics the way I hope you'd grade mine. Although I've had no formal schooling in clever restoration detection, because of my experience and dedication to this ever-growing hobby, I can spot some details many collectors might miss. Bid with confidence, customer satisfaction is guaranteed! Everyone has their own personal favorite comic genre, and while I can enjoy most all publishers, era, titles and characters, my own personal favorite is DC War followed by DC Horror. My wife is partial to The Jetsons and Scooby Doo.
In closing, let me point out that I'm not like some ebayers, who know nothing about some collection they happened to come upon. First and foremost, I'm in it to continue collecting and would never do anything intentionally to dis-credit this great hobby of ours I plan to enjoy for years to come. Come back again soon!
