On offer is this Super Vintage Open faced Jewelled RECORD pocketwatch in very good condition and in full working order recently serviced, it has not been tested for timekeeping accuracy over a long period. The watch face is unsigned with a scuff and scratch free crystal - see photos. The dial is approx 43mm in diameter and has black arabic numerals and against a light orange background. The watch weighs 64 grammes and the rear case is inscribed on the inside with METAL PLAQUE OR - 20 MICRONS - GARANTI 20 ANS - followed by a tombstone shape engraved with GM BM GENEVE - 947505. The dust cover reads RECORD WATCH CO. GENEVE - MONTRE PRECISION - LEVEES VISIBLE - DOUBLE PLATEAU - QUALITE SUPERIEURE - see photos. The watch hands are a deep steely blue. The watch case on the outside is art deco in design with beautifully engraved perimeters to main case, front bezel and rear case. The bow and pendant are also similarly engraved. Written on the movement RECORD. The the watch is pendant wound and pendant set. A very collectable, beautiful time piece.
