Up for sale here is a fairly heavy, double sided , always super rare to find for sale Super Greyhound Motor Fuel sign, made of porcelain. It measures 34" x 58" inches and is vintage original sometime between the 1920s and 1960s. The exact year of this sign's creation is unknown to me but my research leans towards sometime in the 1940s. In the pictures provided you will see both sides of the sign which are identical. You will also see several rusting areas where the porcelain has been broken off in one manner or another. The edges all around the sign are also rusting. The mounting holes seem to have aged well complete with the metal inserts and is ready to mount. I gave the sign a quick wipe down to pretty it up for pictures so any serious cleaning/restoring if done will have to be done by the new owner. For the record I have never restored this sign. It's home has been outside in the weather, of an old farm house built in 1921, for who knows how long. I will ship this insured and do my very best to pack it well for it's shipping journey and to protect your purchase. I am willing to provide Free shipping to the 48 continental US only.
