Up for your consideration is a very large running horse weathervane set up with 2 balls and a set of directionals. The horse measures 33 inchs long and close to 4 inchs thick and 17 inchs tall. The whole set up is close to 40 inchs tall...At one time the horse appears to have fallen off the rod and someone sodered or welded it back on, thats why the three back feet look a different color, they must have gotten overheated during the fix.The horse in pictures 4&5 is just to show the size of the larger horse, the small one is not for sale.I would estimate this animal to be made sometime in the earily 1900's, it is very detailed and would look excellent ontop of a garage, barn or possible ontop of a mantle by your fireplace. The only history i have on this piece is from the flea market i bought it from in southern Wisconsin. The original seller told me he got this off a shed that a tree had fell on in the western part of Wisconsin about 25 miles from Lacrosse. If you would like to know anything else that i didnt cover, please ask and i would love to help! Thanks for looking and goodluck if you decide to bid! f.y.i. i am offering free shipping with the buy it now price It was brought to my attention that I have a miss print on my listing,as far as the date on this I believe but am not positive its made around 1940's
