These rolls have been in my family for some time now. I should probably hold on to them because of their extreme rarity but for personal reasons I decided that I would sell a few. I only plan on selling 5 or 6 rolls from my collection. Considering the rarity of the rolls, I am putting several rolls away for the future to give to my kids. I have noticed what appears to be similar rolls being placed and sold on EBAY off and on. These rolls are bringing as much as $7000.00 a roll depending on the rolls conditions. The rolls I have are in excellent condition and this roll that I am selling has a CC mint on both ends. The few rolls I have opened were just like this one and several CC mint marks with assorted dates were found in these rolls. The rolls had anywhere from 2 to 5 ccs in them of various date and I even found a super key date. The rolls consist of mixed dates and mint marks from 1878 to1904 since the bank closed in 1907. These coins are from a Carson City Bank not the Carson City Mint and this just means there is a higher probability of cc minted coins in them. Just like an old roll from a Denver bank would have more Denver mint marks than other mints.
