Unusual solid copper bullet gang mold for making 4 round balls, one about .71 caliber, 2 about .69 caliber and one about .57 caliber. T is another cavity for making an oval ball about .55 caliber without a pouring channel. My guess is this one did not come out so well so they never botd to finish it. Massive with iron pivot pin. Measures about 7 3/8" including the short handles. Never saw one out of copper before. No markings. Family estate that had it cleaned it up with Twinkle or Brasso a few years ago and it still has some polish dried on it. Shows lots of dings on the exterior from decades of use, interior is excellent. Great 18th Century mold for making bullets that would fit either the Brown Bess or Charleville. All items guaranteed 100% authentic unless otherwise specified.
