I am helping with a friend's estate and will be listing several Robert Simmons horse figurines in the next few days. I am calling these horses super rare b/c it's the only ones that either my friend or I have ever seen. My friend had over 8,000 horse figurines in her collection. She collected horses since she was a child and she was in her late 70's when she died. She bought this one of them off of ebay a few years ago. We were excited when he came up because we didn't even know it existed! She was esctatic when she won him!! (and paid A LOT) His name is Dash and his number is something 14. Also comes with the square Robert Simmons Ceramics sticker that is on his right rump. The horses that Simmon's did in pairs would have names that would rhymn so it would only make sense. Like I said these are the only two we've ever seen. They were bought separately. They do not have any breaks or chips but they both have crazing. Crazing is common to pottery pieces. They are 6 1/2" at ear tips and 6 1/2" long. I am starting read more
