WHAT A LOVELY SET OF ELIZABETH II MODERN SOUP SPOONS! EACH IS OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY. And of a very good weight and in a highly sought after pattern too. Here we have a quite exceptional and quite lovely set of solid silver large soup spoons of terrific gauge and weight.Hallmarks are deep and clear. They are a truly wonderful lot well worth owning. Each is assayed in Sheffield and dated 1987 (year letter N) and they have a maker's mark for very good makers Cooper Bros (CB&S). This is a lovely modern lot and a must have. A really delightful set! Their length is quite large at 6.875 inches. These lovely spoons are of exceptional quality and each is a most delightful piece of hefty table silver. Pattern is KINGS DOUBLE STRUCK.This is a popular and highly sought after pattern. Weight of actual silver is a sublime 410 grams (13.18 troy ounces),each piece is made of very thick gauge silver throughout. The condition is superb and they are of superior quality and condition.The bowls are of perfect shape with a thick unworn rim and tip.Each is unengraved and always has been,definitely no erasures either. Please note that i have listed many other good items of both modern and antique silver,please do have a look. A truly beautiful and most wonderful lot which is way too good to scrap despite the high price of the metal. Would be ideal for making up a canteen of this popular pattern.
