Montblanc 224 Malachite Green MINT!!! Up for sale is an extremely rare Montblanc 224 in Malachite Green. Malachite green Montblancs are extremely desirable and extremely difficult to find. It is exceptionally rare to find such a rare pen in this condition. Make- Montblanc Model- 224 Year- 1935-1937 (Only made for 2 years!!!) Country- Germany Condition- MINT, No cracks, no owner imprints, no chew marks, no gouges, no scrapes. No imperfections whatsoever! The Color is perfect. The green is extremely bright. The cap and barrel color is the same. No color fading. Pen is fully functional. New ink sac. Nib- Extra fine. Firm. Smooth. Imprint states MONTBLANC 4 14c. Nib size corresponds with pushknob imprint. Cap- White star is crisp. Cap has crisp Montblanc imprint. Two gold cap bands. Cap bands are tight and do not rotate. No lip cracks. Threads grip well. Barrel- Imprint states SIMPLO ORIGINAL MONTBLANC D.R.P. 508058. Imprint is crisp. Endcap- Imprint states 224 and other side states EF (extrafine nib). Endcap unscrews and then it becomes the pushknob. Please refer to "The Montblanc Diary & Collector's Guide" page 85 for more information. I have had several Malachite Green Montblanc and I have never seen one with such nice color. I have never seen a 224 Malachite for sale on ebay, however t is currently a Montblanc 224 Malachite
