Super rare and guaranteed original WWII 517th Airborne Pocket Patch. "Attack". The patch is twill with a cheese cloth backing. Back has some remains of the poster board and but this should/will clean up easily. Overall in excellent + condition. If you know pocket patches, then you know that this is a tough one to come by. Check out my other auctions for more original airborne, paratrooper, parachute infantry regiment, 506th, 101st, 82nd, 17th, & Geronimo Para insignia. This original patch was obtained from part of the estate of William E "Bill" Goodman the former editor of the "Trading Post". This is the official newsletter and magazine of the American Society of Military Insignia Collectors (aka: ASMIC). Patch was on a poster board with several other rare and unique WWII Airborne patches that he had put togther many, many years ago (board pictured in listing is for reference only and not for sale. Patches will be listed individually if being sold). Overseas with FedEx shipment and PayPal only. I will not ship to Poland period due to the handywork of the Polish postal system. Nor will I ship to the other individual who resold the $700.00 worth of rare WWII Airborne wings and DIs that I won for $3.25 to someone else even though DHL confirms his delivery of payment.
