THIS RUG WAS HAND WOVEN IN 1950s IN THE CITY OF NAIN IN IRAN. THE DESIGN OF THIS RUG IS KNOWN AS SHAHABBASI WHICH IS ALSO KNOWN AS THE 16th CENTURY DESIGN. THIS RUG WAS MADE BY VERY FINE KURK WOOL.
