Originial tin/metal vintage, antique AC Spark Plug double sided flange sign. This is a very rare automobile, motorcycle pictorial vintage advertising sign, in extremely great condition. The colors are not faded !!!!!!!! NO RESERVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sign measures 15 and three eights by 10 and five eights inches.

This sign was hanging up in a garage away from the sun for over 50 years. I believe the date of the sign is October 1938. It pictures a horse in a bathtub getting a shower. With the phrase "HAVE YOUR PLUGS CLEANED BY THE NEW AC METHOD." This is the older version of this sign ,the newer version of this sign didnot have BY THE NEW AC METHOD printed under the bath tub.

You can see in the photos that the sign is in very good condition. T are a few very small scrapes on the sign but it's in the best condition of any sign I've seen from this era. This is a great old sign for you lovers and collectors of Airplanes, hot rods, antique motorcycles, drag racers, antique boats, advertising , antique car, or custom car collectors. This sign is in the style of Von Dutch and Big Daddy Roth. The sign has been in my personal collection for 25 years.

The horse in the bathtub reminds me of some of the cartoons Dutch used to do while I was working at the warehouse w he lived and worked many years ago in Santa Paula, Ca. This is a killer sign to hang in your garage, den, airplane hanger, car or motorcycle shop !!!!!!!!!!
