ABOUT OUR AUCTIONS: Hi everyone,thanks for taking a look at our items. Over the next couple weeks we will be selling off some of our finest examples out of our private collection. Some Amazingly Rare and Quality items so please bookmark our site if you like what you see, t is more to come! If you haven't seen our items before it is nice to know we have Never Had a Reserve on one item Ever, no matter what it is!!!We also try and start everything off nice and low usually under 20.00 to give everyone a great chance at a nice treasure! Also just to let you know if you see more than one item you like, we give great combined shipping deals, usually at least 50% lower for the second item. Thank you to all our great customers, we hope to hear form you again soon,all the best! ITEM: Up for auction is a Superb c1870 Sevres French Porcelain and Bronze Ormolu mounted Mantle Clock. The Mantle Clock part of a Large Collection of Silver and other Fine Quality Estate items up for auction, as you can see in the last picture. The Clock is part of my Parents Estate and Collection. It is one of the finest period examples we have seen. The Clocks Porcelain panels are also complete Hand Painted with the finest of details throughout. They also have nice jeweled white and Red enamel decorations which you find on the finer period examples. The Clock face also has a great scene with a young boy and girl courting, and cherubs along the base. The Bronze mounts are also of very fine quality beautifully and ornately detailed throughout. The Clock also has nice Rococo front feet, and claw foot back feet another example of its fine quality. As you can see the clock does have its original weight and key. Unfortunately the clock does need some repair having the small piece of metal that makes the pendulum swing broke. Although I believe this happens quite often and is quite an easy repair for a clocksmith. The clock also has one hand missing, and a small clip near one of the winding dials. However overall for its age it is in quite nice condition with no other chips, cracks, or repairs. The Porcelain Hand Painted decorations are also in Very Fine original condition showing very little to no wear. The Solid Bronze mounts are also in fine original condition with no damage, or missing pieces, and a nice period patina. The Clock is also a nice substantial size measuring 17 inches tall, by 10 inches wide,and 6 inches deep at the base. The Clock movement is also signed by a Very Fine French period clock maker Japy Freres&Cie and is numbered 5241. I have no idea what the Fine c1870 French Porcelain and Bronze Clock would be worth. You do not see to many of this quality come up for auction, and with No Reserve! As usual we just start all my items off low, and will let you decide. Like a Real Auction should be!! The Very Fine c1870 French Hand Painted Porcelain and Bronze Ormolu Mounted Clock would make an great addition to any collection, and is also an excellent investment piece.
