ABOUT OUR AUCTIONS: Hi everyone,thanks for taking a look at our items. Over the next week we will be listing some amazingly fine examples from our collection. You very rarely see private collections like this come up for auction on ebay these days, and all with No Reserve. If you haven't seen our auctions before it is nice to know we have Never Had a Reserve on one item ...Ever, no matter what it is! We also start everything off nice and low always under 15.00 to give everyone a great chance at a nice treasure. Also if you see more than one item you like, we give great combined shipping deals, always at least 50% lower for the second item and even lower for more items. ITEM: Up for auction is a Very Rare 18thc French Petit Carousel Covered Cup and Saucer. The Cup and Saucer is part of a Large Collection of Fine Quality Estate items up for auction, as you can see in the last picture. The Cup and Saucer are part of my Parents Estate and Private Collection. They purchased the Cup and Saucer many years ago out of a very fine collection that included the 2 period Served Vases, and Sevres Cup and Saucer also listed. As you can see the Cup and Saucer are Very Finely hand decorated all around and in a pattern by the Very Fine and Rarely found 18thc French Porcelain Firm Petit Carousel. The Cup and Saucer are also in fine original condition with some gitl loss to the Saucer, and one very small chip to the outer rim. But overall very fine original condition for its age with no other chips, cracks, or repairs. The decorations are also in fine condition showing very little to no wear, and the colors are still nice and Vibrant. It is also Very Rare to find the Cups original Cover still with the Cup. The Cup measures 4 inches tall with its lid, by 2 3/4 inches wide. The Saucer measures 5 inches iwde, by 1 inch tall wiht its early raised rim design. I have no idea what the Very Rare 18thc Petit Carousel Covered Cup and Saucer would be worth, never seeing another example come up for auction. I have seen a few pieces in this Petit Carousle Pattern in books that were worth a Very Substantial amounts. As usual we just start all our items off low, and will let you decide. Like a Real Auction should be!! The Very Rare 18thc Petit Carousel Covered Cup and Saucer would make a great addition to any collection, and is also an excellent investment piece.
