Harrods Officer's Shoes These superb 1930s/1940s Harrods black calf RAF officer's shoes are used but in excellent condition. They are a UK size 9 and are a narrow width fitting. In military footwear sizing they would be a 9S. Other than some normal creasing,the calf uppers are in excellent unmarked condition.The leather is of the highest quality. The shoes have never been bulled and the grain of the leather is visible. The soles are deep channel stitched,oak bark tanned and showing minimal wear. The heels are leather stacked and are showing minor wear. Leather and linen lined and internally very clean. The last photo shows a tiny minor tear to the linen lining at the front of the right shoe.It's about the size of a pea and is beneath the creasing of the shoe.A very minor detail,but I try to be as accurate as posible with all my listings. Heel to toe measures 30.25cm and width of sole at widest point is 10cm. Internal length is 29.5cm and internal width at widest point is 9.25cm. A truly outstanding pair of vintage shoes of the highest quality. The shoe trees are not included. All questions are very welcome. UK bidders only.
