1952 Omega Automatic Watch Cal.342 Description Classic 1952 Vintage Omega Automatic 'Bumper' Movement 14kt Gold Filled 33 mm Case. Beautiful Warm White Dial. Circa 1952 - 61 years old. Omega Signed x 4 Times . Dial - Movement - Case - Crown Cal. 342 17 Jewels Automatic - Keeping excellent time CASE : 14kt Gold filled case, in very, very good original condition, with tiny surface marks only. I cannot see any loss of, or 'thinning' of the gold anywhere. Measuring approx 39.5 mm lug to lug, and 33 mm across the dial, not including the Omega signed original winding crown. With the Winding Crown the diameter is 35 mm. Inside the caseback is Omega Watch Co. triangle, and Marque serial code Omega Case Reference Serial Code: 6231 This watch is from the 'US Collection' introduced in 1952 Omega Movement Serial Number: 12366525 Dating this movement, to approx 1950. Crystal, is in excellent condition, with no significant marks. DIAL : Stylish original dial, possibly historically re painted, but decades ago, in truly excellent condition with hardly discernible patina Beautiful raised gold baton markers, with gold Dauphine / Dagger hands, in magnificent condition.
