This is a superb 19th century tribal art carving which certainly has originated from one of the African tribes. A wonderful and interesting carving which we would suggest, that due to the wear to the base of the legs, it would have been placed into the ground and displayed. Has an overall height of about 28inches with a max width of about 4.5inches. Condition as per pictures with wear to the base of legs with overall cracking. The largest down the back as per pictures. Besides being a very collectable 19th century African tribal art carving, would also look fabulous displayed.
