This is a superb tile, the second of three similar tiles of which, during our research we have been informed it is from the 19th century and is of Chinese origin. Certainly a wonderful hand decorated tile with the perched bird decoration with other flower and leaf decor. Has an overall size of about 10 x 7inches with a depth of just over 0.25inches. Signed to left hand side. Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is excellent and is without any chips, cracks or restoration. Besides being a very collectable Chinese tile from the 19th century, would also look fabulous displayed. to both is excellent and both are without any blemish of chips, cracks or restoration. Besides being a very collectable pair of Staffordshire seated cats fromn the 19th century, both would also look fabulous displayed.
