This is a superb light wood carving of the four figures and a sedan chair of which during our research we have been informed it originates from Chana and dates late 19th, early 20th century. Wonderful overall intricate hand carving of the four figures with the intricate carved sedan centrally. Thread decor to rear of hats. The sedan chair with its intricate overall decoration has a seated figure internally. Mounted onto a wooden base with an overall size of about 11 x 3.5inches. Height of about 4.5inches. Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is good with the first man at the rear subject to loss of feet and hand as per pictures. Besides being a very collectable and intriacte Chinese figure carving group from the late 19th, early 20th century of quality, would also look fabulous displayed. Also included as per picture is the wood carving of the Chinese figure pulling a rickshaw. Height about 2.5inches with a length of about 5inches.
