This superb and especially early example by Wululu was collected in 1965 and taken to Sydney to display in a cafe called the Boomerang Cafe. When the cafe closed it was given to the previous owner. I have seen only a few early examples by this artist show up in auction. Most that show are much later examples. Take a look at Sothebys November 2005 lot 147. It was a painting from the same period with similar content and sold for $3600. This particular painting has been put in a stylish box frame and preserved behind glass. It is perfect condition for age. The bark measures 62 x 36cm in size and the frame measures 80 x 54cm. For this piece it will cost $41 USD to post anyw in the world and $13 within Australia.
