Rare and Exceptional Quality Vienna Style Miniature Porcelain Teapot decorated circa 1910 by Richard Klemm, Dresden Attractively potted and richly hand decorated in cobalt blue and gold with gilt jeweling, this wonderful miniature carries the printed mark of Richard Klemm. The white ground of the domed lid and lower body of the pot displays a subtle pink tint. NOTE: A variation of the crown and conjoined "RK" Klemm mark is illustrated as plate 1170 on page 162 of "Marks on German, Bohemian and Austrian Porcelain 1710 to the Present" by Robert Rontgen. The author dates production of Meissen and Vienna style wares decorated by Richard Klemm at 1869-1916. Condition: One gilt bead "jewel" of the lid on the cobalt band is missing (see fourth photograph) . Otherwise perfect - no chips, scratches or wear.
