This is a superb VICTOR IAN ANTIQUE EGG CUP STAND or EGG CRUET In my estimation it dates from around the mid 19th Century, circa 1870-1880, but please make up your own mind about this. The oval stand measures approx 5 1/2 inches (140mm) by 6 inches ( 150mm), by 6 inches (150mm) tall and is made from very good quality silver plate. The tray stands on four ornate feet and holds two egg cups (with beautiful ornate cast bases) & two spoons, and has an ornate central carrying handle. It is in very good original condition with no wear, damage or repairs. This is a fine example of its type, and it would grace any table and make a great addition to any collection.
