This is a superb example of an antique .. Victorian Staffordshire .. `Cottage` Figure, ... made in the Staffordshire Potteries, ... and dating from circa. 1880. The cottage is superbly modelled .. and decorated with both over-glaze & under-glaze enamels, ... finished with applied `parsley` decoration to the roof. The cottage is in very good condition. There are no chips or repairs. There is age-related crazing / hair-lines to the glaze, .. mainly visible on the back .. as shown in the photos. Base length : 3.7 ins. / 9.5 cms.
