This is a superb example of an antique Majolica .. Zsolnay . `Floral` Plate, ... made by `Zsolnay .. Pecs`, ... and dating to circa. 1900. The plate is superbly decorated with a relief moulded .. floral design, ... against a leaf background, ... Finished in a rich glaze, typical of majolica wares. The plate is also beautifully decorated on the reverse side .. (which is typical of Zsolnay wares) .. as shown in the photos. An excellent reference to similar Zsolnay plates can be found in, .. "European Majolica" .. D. Michael Murray .. page : 110. The plate is in very good condition. There are no cracks or chips. No damage or repairs.
