This is a superb Mene bronze desktop double inkwell with standing horse. My bronze figurines come from a variety of sources including part clearance collections, quality antique fairs and small private sales which uncover pieces from the 18th,19th, 20th centuries and later periods, and include a variety of bronzes such as animalier, Art Nouveau, Art Deco. This is a beautiful bronze which has excellent attention to detail and a beautiful portrayal of the horse. Inkwells both have inserts present. This is a fine dark bronze of excellent detail. Impressed to base is Mene. M easures some 9" overall height and some 9.5" max width. The condition is excellent. A fine collectable bronze inkwell with standing horse figurine which will make a superb display piece.
