ITEM: Up for auction is a Very Fine c1780 Chinese Export Famille Rose Canton Teapot. The Teapot is part of a Large Japanese and Chinese Period Arts Collection up for auction, as you can see in the last 2 pictures. Most of the items listed are out of my Parents Private Collection with some Very Fine period examples. A few months back we auctioned off a small portion of items out of the collection online that brought very much interest, and now we have decided to list some more.

The Teapot is one of the finest period examples we have seen. The Hand Painted Details and decoration or Superb throughout. As you can see the Teapot also has a nice period bulbous form and reeded design threw the porcelain. The Top of the Teapot is also finely decorated with Famille Rose Flowers and Leaf Foliage. The Sides of the teapot also has a great design really the finest we have seen with a little bit of everything from the period decorations including Insects, Butterflies, Birds, Large and Small Flowers and Foliage. The Teapot is also in Very Fine original condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The Decorations are also in very fine condition showing very little to no wear throughout. As you can see the Teapot is missing its original vine or wood handle with is usually never found still intact with these period teapots, and can easily be replaced if desired. The Teapot measures 6 3/4 inches long with its spout, by 5 inches wide, and sits 3 1/2 inches tall.

I have no idea what the c1780 Chinese Export Famille Rose Teapot would be worth. You do not see to many period examples of this quality come up for auction, and in this Very Fine original condition, with No Reserve! As usual we just start all my items off low, and will let you decide. Like a Real Auction should be!! HISTORY: I am selling a Large amount of items collected over fifty years by myself, and my husband. Also t is my Parents Estate and collection. They were knowledgeable High End collectors for many years. They loved collecting the Finest, and Rarest items they could find, and doing a lot of traveling always came home with a few treasures!
