ABOUT OUR AUCTIONS: Hi everyone,thanks for taking a look at our items. We do hope everyone is having a nice holiday season, and we wish everyone all the best in 2008. Over the past couple months we have been unpacking and getting ready to list some amazing examples from our private collection. I believe this week we have some of the Finest pieces we have Ever listed online, some really amazing examples, and all starting low with No Reserve. If you like what you see please be sure to add us to your favorites list , we do have many more treasures still to come! If you haven't seen our auctions before it is nice to know we have Never Had a Reserve on one item ...Ever, no matter what it is! We also start everything off nice and low, usually under 15.00 to give everyone a great chance at a nice treasure. Also if you see more than one item you like, we give great combined shipping deals, always at least 50% lower for the second item and even lower for more items. ITEM: Up for auction is a Very Fine Matching set of two Continental Silver Dolphin Figural Candlesticks. The Candlesticks are part of a Large Collection of Silver and other Fine Quality Estate items up for auction, as you can see in the last picture. The Candlesticks are 2 of the nicest examples we have ever seen. As you can see the Candlesticks have a great design. The Candlesticks also have great figural masks all down the sides, including Large Dolphin Head bases. The Details throughout the Candlesticks are Absolutely Superb. The Canadlestick are also in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The Candlesticks also stand perfectly straight. I cannot see any markings on the Candlesticsk so to be safe for the auction I will assume they are silver plate, although they do appear to be solid silver. The Candlesticks weight 960 grams on our postal scale. The Candlesticks are also a nice size measuirng 10 1/2 inches tall, by 5 inches wide at the base. I have no idea what the Very Fine Figural Candlesticks would be worth. I do know it may be some time before you see another set of this quality, and with the great fuigural designs, with No Reserve. As usual we just start all our items off low, and will let you decide. Like a Real Auction should be!!
