Superb collection 1973-81 GB FDCs . There are 64 covers in total (see photo for full contents). All covers have special handstamps - all better and all covers are unaddressed, 1978 and before have either label addresses or removed label addresses - some left residue needs removing - Sailing has some damage but rest look fine.. All are on the very collectable Stuart covers - a lovely collection. Note 1974 Fire with Avon County Fire Brigade special handstamp with Southmead Fire Station stamp. Good Cat and face approx. £40 b ut priced to sell at less than £1. UK postage is £3.20 first or £2.80 second (includes 40p for jiffy bag). Note that I always combine multiple lot wins to reduce your P&P charge - you only ever pay actual Royal Mail cost. NOTE TO BUYERS - my FDC collections are usually described as either Superb, Excellent or Good. In general Superb is reserved for later covers that are in pretty much pristine condition - later covers have generally not gone through the post and therefore are generally found in great condition. Excellent is reserved for better collections which whilst not reaching superb standard, are still in very good condition. Good is used to described a generally acceptable level - note that most 80s and prior covers have been through the post and have generally less good quality covers - these almost always have a less good appearance than later covers. The description of a lot describes the general standard throughout the collection - there often will be covers above or below this standard. In collections I will only refer to indivual condition if certain covers represent a much higher than average catalogue value within the collection. I will usually describe more valuable covers in greater detail - I always mention in these cases bad damage or if the cover is slit. All my covers come from auction and are not individually checked unless specifically refered to in the listing. I am always happy to answer any questions. GENERAL POLICIES Feedback - I always leave feedback but this is generally done between 2-4 weeks after the transaction - this is due the quantity of transactions as I do all positive ones in one go. I generally use a standard comment so whilst I always appreciate some of the nice comments buyers make, I'm afraid I don't have time to personalise mine. Payment - my only request is that you pay by the end of the week following the auction. This enables buyers to combine postage over 2 weeks. I only start chasing if payment is not received by the end of this period. Posting - nearly all my listings are Wednesday & Thursday finishes - providing payment is received by the end of that week, I always aim to get lots out the following Monday. Note than unless specifically requested I send packages 2nd class (2 to 3 days transit) if below 1kg and standard parcels (3 to 5 days) if above 1kg. Therefore I would not recommend chasing up lots that haven't arrived until the end of the week following that of payment. Note that I always get a proof of posting which will be provided in the case of missing package claim. Refunds on missing items are at my discretion and will generally only be offered to my regular customers - you may, if you request it, insure any package for an extra £1. Finally, my aim is always to provide a good service to both collectors and resellers. Please bring to my attention any problems or issues. I always respond to buyers queries on items they have purchased. If by any chance you don't get a response, please try again as it either means it hasn't reached me or somehow I've missed it (I am human). My feedback is very high and I wish to keep it that way. The only negative feedback I have had is from a very few people who have either not been bothered or have failed to contact me - if buyers don't play fairly with me, I always report them to Ebay. read more
